Hello pumpkins!
Halloween is getting closer and closer and we’re loving it. We try to celebrate Halloween every year, usually making some scary sweets for ourselves, carving pumpkins and having a bonfire with some friends all dressed up as spooky monster or iconic book/film- characters. Something that can’t be missed at a night full of shivering are some good old-fashioned Halloween films. That is why we also like to have a Halloween movie-night. So whether you are giving a party, having a movie night or are alone at halloween, here are our (classic) halloween favourites to watch:
Hocus spocus
After three centuries, three witch sisters are resurrected in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it is up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to their reign of terror once and for all.
A great film to start the night with.
Witches
A young boy stumbles onto a witch convention and must stop them, even after he has been turned into a mouse.
A little boy fighting against many witches. It takes a lot of courage to do what he does and it is magical story.
Halloweentown
After learning she is a witch, a girl helps save a town full of other supernatural creatures.
A story about a young witch in training, may inspire other young girls to fight what they believe in.
The witches of Eastwick
Three single women in a picturesque village have their wishes granted – at a cost – when a mysterious and flamboyant man arrives in their lives.
A typical film for women. Three friends who fall for the same man, a touch magic and a sense of humour.
The nightmare before christmas
Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but doesn’t quite understand the concept.
Who hasn’t seen this film? A total classic and a must-see on Halloween.
(any film of) Harry Potter
A young boy who discovered he’s a wizard and has to take it up against the most feared wizard in the world.
Harry Potter is totally something you should watch during Halloween, it doesn’t even matter which one. Although the first film has the most Halloween in it.
With these classic films your night will be a great deal of fun. So let’s get spooky and celebrate all Hallows’ eve ♥
What is your favourite Halloween film?
