It is not what’s under Christmas tree that matters, it is who’s around it.
~ Charlie Brown
Dear people,
Picking a Christmas tree is a very hard choice every year again. There are so many key elements you have to keep in mind. You want the right size, the right freshness, the right shape. To help you out, here is a little guide to picking a Christmas tree.
1. Location
Firs of all, you need to think where you want to put you Christmas tree. You can place it in the centre of your living room or in a small corner. If you’ve decided where you want to put it, it will be easier to choose a Christmas tree that fits perfectly in your house.
2. Measure the height.
It could be considered as clever to measure the height from your floor to your ceiling. This way you won’t be buying a tree that is either too big or too small.
3. Pick a theme
This is more for your decorations, however, sometimes it can be very convenient to think of a theme for your Christmas tree before buying a tree. You might want a fairytale theme or a red, green, gold theme. Every theme fits with a different kind of tree. So if you know what kind of theme you want, it might help you to choose your perfect tree.
4. Think of the shape
Then, you need to decide what kind of shape you want. Do you want a small tree or a tall one? Do you want a tree with many branches or one that is a bit more bald. It is extremely important to decide what kind of tree you want before you actually go out and buy it.
5. Make sure it is fresh
Make sure that you pick a tree that is still quite fresh. This way your tree will remain in a good condition for a longer period of time. You can tell whether it is fresh by checking the needles. If the needles are hard to pull of, you’ve got yourself a fresh tree.
This was our little guide on how to pick a Christmas tree. We hope that you’ll find a Christmas tree that you absolutely love and that will help you celebrate a magical Christmas.
