Ghosts & Goblins, Spooks galore, scary witches at your door. Jack ‘o lanterns shining bright, wishing you a haunting night.
Hello Pumpkins!
It is nearly Halloween and we cannot wait. Halloween is probably one of our most favourite holidays. We love the spookiness and dressing up, eating sweets & treats, carving pumpkins and all the other elements that belong to Halloween. We try to celebrate Halloween every year and we usually have three ways to do that. Here are our options on how to celebrate Halloween.
HALLOWEEN MOVIE MARATHON
This is basically the most simple and affordable one. All you need is some good Halloween movies, some deliciously scary treats and some lovely people to share your evening with. We always like to dress up for this Halloween night and to decorate the house, so that your little night will be a bit more scary.
SPOOKY DINNER WITH FRIENDS
One of our favourite ways to celebrate Halloween is dining with our friends. Everyone makes one scary course or treat and we’ll all have dinner together in wacky costumes while listening to some scary tunes. The house is completely decorated and we’ll end the night with our favourite desert of all time: chocolate fondue!! ♥
A HALLOWEEN PARTY
If we really want to celebrate Halloween big, we’ll throw a Halloween party. We divide the house and decorate all the parts in different styles. Think of an Alice in Wonderland tearoom, Neverland garden, chamber of secrets bathroom. This way it feels as if you are constantly entering different worlds, how fun is that? Costume wise, we do not go for a special theme, we just let everybody decide for themselves what they want to wear, however, our experience is that most people show up in amazing costumes. We’ll make sure that there is enough food for everybody, usually a lot of spooky treats made by ourselves. And something that is a must for us at any party is a bonfire!! Imagine, telling ghost stories in the middle of the night a round a bonfire to keep you all warm.
SIDE NOTE: We’ll throw a little Halloween party with fewer friends if we do not feel like throwing a big party.
These are our favourite ways to celebrate Halloween. This year we will have a spooky dinner with some of our closest friends and we cannot wait. We do still have to think what we are going to wear and we haven’t got much time left since the most spookiest time of the year is nearly here!
How are you going to celebrate Halloween this year?
Love,
Kiki~Jane & Lily~Rose
